La Grande Démesure celebrates its 10th edition with disco and
community spirit
A vibrant evening to celebrate, connect and support LGBTQ+ communities
MONTRÉAL, September 24, 2026 – Interligne invites LGBTQ+ communities, their loved ones and allies to experience or relive the disco era at the 10th edition of La Grande Démesure, its signature annual fundraising event. Taking place on November 13 at Bungalow in Montréal, the evening will bring together supporters of sexual and gender diversity with a shared goal: to celebrate the community while helping sustain Interligne’s services for years to come.
This milestone edition will feature performances, dancing, games and casino activities, along with opportunities to celebrate and connect all in a spirit of generosity and solidarity.
Following a record-breaking $202,000 raised in 2025, Interligne is calling on donors to come together to surpass last year’s total and help maintain the organization’s services as demand continues to grow.
A decade of solidarity
For its 10th edition, La Grande Démesure will honour what has made it a success from the start: its ability to bring together people across generations and backgrounds through a shared commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ communities.
More than a celebration, La Grande Démesure is a fundraising event that turns attendees’ generosity into tangible support. Every donation and every person who attends helps sustain Interligne’s services.
“At Desjardins, advancing equity, diversity and inclusion is central to our commitment to the people and communities we serve. By supporting La Grande Démesure, we are proud to contribute to an event that celebrates diversity, fosters a sense of belonging and directly supports Interligne’s essential work with LGBTQ+ communities across the country.”
