The groups are an opportunity to share and exchange views on various topics affecting LGBTQ+ communities in a safe space.

Throughout the year, Interligne offers a variety of discussion and support groups, in French and English, for people in the LGBTQ+ communities.

The discussion and support group session started last fall will end on May 29.

This assistance service will undergo a brief pause in order to restructure it and adapt it as closely as possible to the realities of the communities it serves. More details to follow.

Discussion and support groups

The discussion groups will propose themes in advance of the various meetings, while the support groups will adapt to the specific interests and needs of the participants.

Interligne offers a series of 7 monthly meetings
by and for
intersex people!

Support groups are an opportunity to share common experiences and get support from people living similar realities. It’s an effective way of validating our experiences and encouraging mutual support. People will be able to meet at Centre St-Pierre (1212, rue Panet, Montréal) for 7 2-hour sessions, during which various themes will be proposed to participants. The groups take place on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Who can participate? All members of the intersex community

When do we meet? One meeting a month, starting in October.

Where? Face-to-face. At Centre St-Pierre. 1212 Panet Street, Montreal QC H4L 2Y7

Support groups are an opportunity to share common experiences and get support from people living similar realities. It’s an effective way of validating our experiences and encouraging mutual support. Over the course of 8 sessions

2 hours, participants will be offered a variety of themes related to:

  • Genre exploration and creativity
  • Gender identity and expression
  • Your journey and questions as a parent
  • Reactions to coming out
  • The importance of family support
  • Supporting children in transition

Who can participate? Parents of trans, non-binary or gender-creative children!

When can we meet? One meeting a month from September 27

asexual and/or aromantic people.

Support groups are an opportunity to share common experiences and get support from people living similar realities. It’s an effective way of validating our experiences and encouraging mutual support. Over the course of 8 sessions

2 hours, participants will be offered a variety of themes related to:

  • The diversity of attraction types
  • Membership of asexual and/or aromantic communities
  • Journeys, questions and coming-out
  • Dating and relationships
  • The representation and invisibilization of asexual and aromantic identities

Who can participate? All asexual and/or aromantic people. (People with questions are welcome!)
