No. A gay or a lesbian person is someone who feels affection and desire on both an emotional and physical level for people of the same gender. A person’s hobby or interest is not defined nor linked to their sexual orientation. It is possible for an LGBTQ+ person to feel drawn to more inclusive environments and to novels, films, artists or hobbies that explore issues related to sexual orientation or gender identity because they can better relate to them. On the other hand, not everyone with those same interests is LGBTQ+.
