The loss of a parent or role model can be a very difficult experience and upset many things in a person’s life, especially at an early age. It is understandable to ask questions about the effect of bereavement and the lack of a role model on the development of our person.

For decades, several studies have attempted to demystify the origin of sexual orientation, and some of them have looked at the family environment. To date, no consensus has been reached. In other words, it is impossible to verify the effect of the family environment on sexual orientation. As a result, research has not been able to prove that the loss of a parent may influence sexual orientation.
