Rainbow Health Ontario

A program of Sherbourne Health, Rainbow Health Ontario creates opportunities for the healthcare system to better serve LGBT2SQ communities. RHO offers training for healthcare providers across the province to feel more clinically and culturally competent in caring for their LGBT2SQ service users. RHO also supports system change by producing evidence-based print and web resources, contributing an LGBT2SQ health perspective to public policy processes, acting as a research catalyst and hosting Canada’s largest LGBT2SQ health conference.

Rainbow Resource Centre offers support to the 2SLGBTQ+ community in the form of counselling, education, and programming for individuals ranging from children through to 55±. It also supports families, friends, and employers of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals.

Raincity Housing

RainCity Housing The first of its kind in BC, the LGBTQ2S+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Questioning, and Two Spirit, plus), Youth Housing First Program works to secure housing for queer and trans youth aged 18 to 24 who are experiencing homelessness. In addition to housing, the team supports youth in connecting to health care, employment, and community. This community often experiences significant harassment and discrimination, which leads to not accessing basic services like health care and education due to oppression.
