I deeply believe that the sufferings that people from our community are dealing with are the result of the dissonance between their identity and their desire and the binary and heteronormatized socialization that is still imposed on us. Defending this model these days makes no more sense to me than to defend geocentrism to explain our place in the universe.

I am delighted to join The Board of Interligne. I have admired and respected Interligne's staff and volunteers for years and look forward to supporting this mission in every way possible.

Interligne has been a staple of Quebec's LGBTQ+ community for more than 40 years. It is a privilege to be able to contribute even a little to this great story of social involvement. I am constantly impressed by the diverse and innovative projects the team is developing, and I am particularly pleased to be able to collaborate on the call-in legal clinic project we launched in 2019.

Having experienced difficulties myself as an LGBTQ+ person and a person of color, I wanted to give my time to help those who need it. I also think that people of color need to be represented in the circles of our various communities. Interligne's mission speaks to me a lot.
Marc-Olivier Guy (he)
Talent acquisition specialist
I get involved with Interligne because I feel challenged by our missions. I am a very privileged person and I want to use my voice to help my community and other communities. Also, as I work in recruitment within companies, it is important for me to be an ambassador of diversity both in my personal and professional life.

After having the privilege of volunteering as a listener, I know that Interligne makes a big difference in the lives of those who use its responders.

I want to get involved in an organization that supports people in terms of their sexual orientation and gender identity to help them better accept themselves and feel comfortable with their feelings. I want to help make us feel good about ourselves, blossomed and proud of who we are.
